I had the same dilemna, too. Received NOA2 June 25. Updated NVC with my email June 28 as i read instructions but received negative response from NVC. See attached

The normal travel time from USCIS to NVC is about 30 to 45 days. Then upwards of two weeks to assign a case number. So according to your timeline you have at least 3 more weeks to wait. "your mileage may vary"

I’m hoping to get more clarification on this. Are there any originals or wet signature documents that I have to bring with me at the interview, from the petitioner?

I know beneficiary has to have original documents, but do I have to tell my fiancé (petitioner) to mail me any documents, or copies are just fine?

thanks in advance

thanks in advance

If you haven't already here is some reading that can be done and with that some prep work you can be doing while you are waiting. Once you have received your P3 letter on what to do if you would be so kind as to send me a copy via VJ PM I use it for those who come behind you and currently have no information from Italy. Thanks.

Thanks

Who are you thanking as I don't see a quote?

Here's some tricks to use when answering and wanting to quote someone.

First, when you use the quote button, go into a LONG posts that you are quoting and if there isn't a need to have the entire post, just delete a small portion of it, but leaving enough of the original post so we can understand what you are replying to.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1krDA5e93LXA3JbzBl8Zo-pvBjpNlLJam/view?usp=sharing

Second, you can use the "@" sign in a blank reply box then begin typing the person's nick to bring up a list with their name and select their name. If it is done right, you should see a blue box around their nick like this @Greenbaum. When you use the @ sign you would use it in a blank reply and not a "+" reply.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MDRnqzVsqYuInL1iSIyuxaMOj52yDAxb/view?usp=sharing

Third is just to use the "heart" icon and select "thanks". Don't really need to say thanks in a quote.

You will eventually need the NOA2 when you file the AOS after marriage.  But until then you don't. However I'd keep bugging them about it.

Scheduling the interview can take 1 to 3 months. Once you pay the $265 visa fee at GTB Bank, you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html No need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms. Email LagosIV@state.gov for your interview date.

My NOA2 was June 3rd.  My case was received by NVC July 7th and processed on July 10th.   I called early morning last week and waited about 15 min.  So the documented timeline is very accurate even with COVID delays.

Rereading the instructions for attaining a PC from Russia I would either contact another representative or fill out the form and send it on and see what happens. You may want to try asking in the sub-forum for Russia.

Go to the blue ribbon above, select "forums" then scroll about 3/4 of the page down and select the region that most represents where your country is located.

@Greenbaum wanted to close the loop on this. Neither the Russian consulate in Georgia nor the Georgian in Russia nor the MVD were able to help with this document (very frustrating circular communication where each one directed us to the other). We decided to reach out to other Russian Embassies in different countries to see if they could be more helpful. The Russian Embassy in Albania (if you can believe it!) was able to request this document on our behalf and the document is being shipped to us. Thankful to have this out of the way. Thanks for your help. We are waiting on our case number to be assigned, yesterday we were told the NVC received our case on the 16th.
