Need help

I got married last year in brazil and i obtain marriage certificate i send that to uscis they approve my case now i have to submit document to NVC   As per brazilian law marriage certificate is valid for 90 days.  Although there is no expiry date on marriage certificate nor i made any changes .  Do i need to obtain a new marriage certificate for NvC ?

Can you call NVC and ask them? They are open 7am to midnight. +1-603-334-0700

In Morocco everything including birth certificate expires in 90 days but when we had things translated to English,  the expiration date was left off

Well its same here but they dont put any expiry date etc.   only the date issued.

If there's no expiration date I think you'll be fine submitting it. But I still think you should call if you can.

Haha the US Government. I wonder if NVC has tier 2 representatives like USCIS does. Maybe ask to speak to a tier 2 rep and see what they say. Or ask for a manager if they dont have tier 2 reps. They should be able to answer your question on the phone.

Man every country have something  thats wired lol. I am going to submit the certificate i submit for i130 and i will have another copy for interview just in case.

Marriage certificates do not expire.  Just send the one you have.  No need to call or email NVC.

If it would expire in 90 days, it would have already expired by the time it USCIS touched your package. You are all good.

Just for clarity, are you sure about that? Could it be the marriage license be valid for 3 months to get married within that time frame?

Well its wired.  And you are right i was thinking same. When they approve my case it was already expired as per Brazilian law .They say its only valid for 90 days   After you have to obtain a new one. But certificate dont show any expiry date. Only issued date and marriage date. 
 

also when get married they issue license after marriage so its different here.

also when get married they issue license after marriage so its different here.  

This is a common confusion.  Often the license to GET married appears on the same page as the marriage certificate, but the license to get married is good for a fixed period of time.  Once married, the marriage certificate does NOT EXPIRE.

This would mean, in brazil I would have to get married every 90 days.
