After our combo interview on May 16th in Sacramento for our i751 ROC case we got a notice of approval today.

Both our naturalization and our ROC cases have been approved and we are awaiting the oath ceremony to be scheduled.

Not expecting a new 10 year green card due to the pending oath ceremony.

25 months since filing the i751 to get approval.

Congratulations, that's good news

Just saw the  notification that Green Card is being produced as of 9/6! Filing date 5/8/2020.

Congratulations!! I just don’t understand why it’s taking this long for cases to be adjudicated. I believe it’s not an issue of backlog. There must be something going on and it’s not really good for everyone waiting. May God help us.

Congratulations

Yesterday my Journey to Citizenship ended with thanks to God. Oath was administered by a Judge Virtually at the USCIS office in Las Vegas. I already have an appointment to go in for my passport at a USPS office near me next month because there is a huge back log in my city. Congratulations to my fellow new American citizens. We came from different countries but we now brothers and sisters courtesy of this great country. And Goodluck to all y'all still on this journey. It's just a matter of time. Y'all will get there.

Yeah sadly it's normal.

When I got my passport stamped with another extension recently (another 12 months), I asked the USCIS desk clerk about it. They said I should track the processing times at:

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Set to "All Field Offices".

This currently shows 80% of cases being completed in 32 months, but that's obviously retrospective and probably hasn't caught up with the nature of the growing backlog yet.

Thank you. This puts me at ease!
