Me too. I just have to store this in the back of my mind at this point to stay sane. Had a baby with my wife in Feb, maybe by the time the baby graduates college Daddy will finally have his permanent permanent resident card 🤣.

very funny but I know soon we should start seeing changes

Can I ask how you submitted the divorce waiver? Did you just resubmit with a new form? I am in the same boat but was advised to just send a letter asking that my application be changed to a divorce waiver along with a copy of my divorce decree. I haven’t received anything back since. Still waiting and still saying ready to schedule interview…

Is anyone else concerned about the extension running out? May 2022 is when my extension (and presumably everyone else on this thread) runs out. Are we unable to travel after that?

you can do an info pass to get a new extension for like a year or so

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what’s an info pass? Is it something I have to get via a field office?

You will call USCIS and tell them you want tp schedule an info pass to be able to get an extension, so you will go to your local office to do that.

To give Potomac filers some hope, especially those who did not file for citizenship as well:

Filed/NOA: 5/13/2020

Biometrics used: 6/13/2020

Approved: 3/17/2022

Total time: just about 22 months.

No interview, no transfer to another center, no citizenship. Just straight up Potomac.

I know it is extremely difficult to stay sane while waiting for this process to be over. Everytime you inch closer to their deadline, they extend it. It's painful, especially when you see other centers with much shorter processing times. It feels so unreasonably unfair.

All I can say is, try, try, try, as much as you possibly can, to NOT think about it. Go on with your daily life and things you enjoy and love.

Good luck everybody!
