Has anyone traveled back to the USA recently from FRANCE with their advance parole and came back without any issues during covid 19? Me (French Citizen) and my wife (US Citizen) are planning a trip to the french riviera this winter for Christmas to visit my parents, I read spouses of French Citizens are exempted from the entry ban in France and same goes for the USA. So my wife should be okay getting in France, but she is very worried about me not being able to get back to the USA even with my advance parole and the marriage certificate. Is there anything I should know before doing this trip or rethink?

You should be fine. Your AP and marriage certificate should suffice. If she's worried, you can travel back to US through CBP preclearance in Dublin or Shannon, Ireland for her peace of mind.

Thank you for your answer! Our flight to France technically has a layover in Munich, I was wondering if US citizens married to EU Citizen have/had problems transitioning through customs to board a connecting flight to another schengen zone country? (Nice, France).

Since we would be both travelling inside the zone, does that affect her travel as a USC? Just making sure.

Transiting through Germany should be fine as she can even visit Germany:

My EU fiancee just came to the US after spending 14 days in Croatia. She traveled via Istanbul. There were absolutely no issues. More questions and checking of documents etc happens at the Istanbul airport than it does at passport control in the US. In Istanbul they asked to see her ESTA and her return ticket. Border officer asked about her work - what she does and how come she can be gone for 3 months. She had that answer ready, as well as the letter from her employer, which he didn't ask to see. There were no questions about being outside of Schengen for 14 days. Maybe he saw the Croatia stamps, not sure.

All in all, it was incredibly easy. I just thought I'd let you all know.

My fiancé will be flying in from Sint Maarten Friday into Miami with his esta . For those of you who Have traveled post COVID on esta outside of Job letter what else should he have ready? He always flies through Miami and never has trouble but I just have a bad feeling they will give him a hard time with everything going on. Also for those of you who have contacted CBP before hand, what email did you use?

My Italian is rusty. Does the following part of DPCM 7 settembre 2020 apply to your gf? https://www.trovanorme.salute.gov.it/norme/dettaglioAtto?id=76082&completo=true

"all'art. 4, comma 1,  dopo  la  lettera  i), e'  aggiunta  la seguente: «i-bis) ingresso nel territorio nazionale per raggiungere il domicilio/abitazione/residenza di una persona di cui alle  lettere f) e h), anche non convivente, con la quale vi sia una comprovata  e stabile relazione affettiva»"

Oh wow, so it's possible!

Do you know what documents they ask to show?

Thanks

Anyone left or transited from Schengen countries to USA recently with K1 visa? Right now I’m only having an option to transit through the Schengen. Can’t find a straight flight from Istanbul!

If you went to say Mexico for 2 weeks possible, I know of someone who entered the US couple of days ago who did that.

Turkish Airlines has daily direct flights from Istanbul to JFK. After entering the US at JFK get a connecting flight to your final destination.

No. "Transiting a country covered by the Presidential Proclamation, even without exiting the airport, counts as physical presence within that country." https://ie.usembassy.gov/us-travel-restrictions/
