AOS fee increases

Hi all!

 

Does anyone know if the administration has already increased application fees for adjustment of status?

 

Is concurrently filing still a thing?

 

Any insight is greatly appreciated :)

However we currently still allowed to concurrently file i-130, i-485, travel document and work permit and not have to pay individually for each form?

Your profile and timeline shows you came on a K-1. Did you marry within 90 days? If so, there is no I-130 and therefore no concurrent filing.

I-765 + I-131 can be filed alongside or after an I-485 anytime.

Oh.. I was under the impression that once i marry within 90 days (which I have) i could concurrently file.

Just AOS is all you need to do.

Concurrently filing is generally considered to be filing 2 separate petitions or applications that ordinary need to be filed in sequence.

Like the case of an I-130 and I-485 - as an approved I-130 is normally required before an I-485 is permitted, unless concurrent filing is allowed.

 

In your case, you already have an approved petition (the I-129F) as the basis for your I-485. So you're just filing an I-485 packet.

If you came in on the K1 then you don't need to file the I130

That is why we are here. But when you do file for AOS make sure you file for AP and EAD along with it
