Hi there, that’s fantastic news!! Congratulations!! I am so happy for you!!
I wanted to find out what your fiancés situation was?  I am a K1 Fiancé VISA holder and I was supposed to be flying out on 1st April. It’s dawning upon me that I may not be able to fly at all until further notice.    Was he coming from one of the countries with the ban?  I would be flying from the UK.  What advice would you give?

The skies are still open from the UK but things may change tomorrow or next week.  I would get on a plane asap and not wait

YMMV

Are you sure? It seems to only be allowing essential travel, and our circumstances don't fall into the category. They seem to only be accepting US citizens.

They're only open to US citizens and permanent residents! Otherwise i'd be on a flight right now!

My fiance didnt come from a country with a ban. He came from Mexico. I highly recommend waiting if at all possible because it may not even be possible to get married right now depending on where you're going. I was able to find just one judge in my county that is willing to do the ceremony but it is scheduled for 2 weeks out. And she wont allow any guests. I'm anticipating that it will be cancelled.

I-751 Removal of Conditions Timeline:

April 27, 2023 Received two letters 1) Notice to set up online account 2) Notice that Biometrics will be reused

Just another update. I emailed the Foreign & Commonwealth Office as advised by the UK.gov support.  This is what they responded with:

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

If you are travelling or live overseas and are concerned about the global coronavirus pandemic, please read our coronavirus guidance and country-specific travel advice on WWW.GOV.UK.

Read our Coronavirus travel guidance:

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-advice-novel-coronavirus

Check advice for your destination:

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

You can register for updates on these pages.

We strongly suggest you use our FCO and Embassy social media pages, (Facebook and Twitter) as well for updates and further information, in some cases this can include information about flight and other transport options. They are platforms for you to ask questions.

All FCO travel advice is published on GOV.UK, there is no additional information our consular officers can provide in response to your enquiry.

Due to this pandemic, all foreign travel is subject to severe disruption and should be carefully planned.

Before travelling, you should assess the level of possible disruption you are willing and able to endure.

If you are abroad, you must follow the advice of local authorities and anticipate possible changes to your travel plans, including travelling via indirect routes to reach your final destination. You must be ready to comply with local isolation or quarantine requirements, and will need to rely on the local health system.

Following is a link to our website that explains what Consular services we are able to provide in our 'Support for British Nationals Abroad: A guide':

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/support-for-british-nationals-abroad-a-guide

If you feel that you require consular support in line with this guide, please call your nearest consulate or embassy:

https://www.gov.uk/world/embassies

This final link covers UK government advice on coronavirus:

So again, not very useful. Looks like no one knows what happens with k1s.

K1s are not on the list of VISAs allowed in.

Just curious, what are the people who have  recently gotten their k1 visas doing that haven’t immigrated to America yet, but aren’t from a level 3 country? Are you coming now? Waiting till things calm down? We weren’t planning on him moving until May (We have our reasons). We don’t know if it’s smart for him to fly now (from Australia) or stick to our original May plan. I would think things would be under control by then, but would hate for Australia to become level 3 country as they are getting more covid19 cases. Both independent contractors. I’m now not working and he is about to lose his job as well. Really at a loss of what to do. Would love to hear what other people with the same immigration timeline as us are doing.

I'm going to America on March 25. I'm worrying about this too hopefully they will not shutdown the borders and airports there. Cause now many airlines was canceled the trip to America! I'm so confused.

I called and spoke with CBP about Trump's restrictions on entry from EU and as long as Visa was issued before the ban took place it won't affect entry into the United States although you would be screened upon arrival for Covid-19 and may be quarantined if they believe necessary from results of screening. Unfortunately for us the borders of the country she was going to leave were closed and citizens barred from leaving. Trying to wait it out with very little substantial indications for when restrictions may be lifted. Rollercoaster keeps on rolling.

If you are CR1 you can still enter the US.   Getting there is the challenge.

I booked my flight for April 17th (Amsterdam-Oslo-SFO) and I’m from Germany. My visa was issued on March 6th. Does that mean I’d be allowed in? I’m just scared they’d deny my entry... but it seems I don’t have another choice, since I already cancelled my job and I won’t have anywhere to live anymore after April...

Yes I got my cr1 but mru is lock down.

The visa is valid for 5 months only and am scared they close the frontiers for longer periods. There's no flight from Mru

Plenty of air traffic at MRU right now.  https://flightaware.com/live/airport/FIMP

Departures are not restricted  https://mauritius-airport.atol.aero/passengers/corona-virus-covid-19-update

You may have to book another airline.  https://www.google.com/flights?hl=en#flt=MRU.LAX.2020-03-23;c:USD;e:1;m:pf;sd:1;t:f;tt:o
