Good write up.  :)

I am surprised that the guard asked for a copy of the DS-260 confirmation,  they stopped asking for that over a year ago.     The interview confirmation email/letter from the embassy and/or NVC interview letter/email.   Have to watch and see if SLEC updates their website again.  Thanks

And it is also good to read that you didn't arrived early and still easily completed the medical.  :thumbs:

Hi Hank! I was surprised too. I actually said to the girl that it wasn't on the site and she said indirectly that it was because it is electronic or e-medical now. But the letter was okay tho.

By the way, thank you so much for all the help! 😊

Oh by the way Hank, speaking of e-medical. I wasn't given an envelope nor CD and they told me I was done. Others I've read on VJ were given envelopes. Is there a trend in that? Or did I miss getting anything from them?🤔

Correct!!   Immigrant visas are going digital .. paperless.  ;)      You will not get a DO NOT OPEN envelope with your visa either, you should receive a letter with your passport w/visa that you hand to the CBP agent at POE.

@Don and Demi

thanks for this post. My wife will be having her medical on mar 10 and 11. This will be a great guide for her. And she is from cebu too. 😁

@Hank_

this will be an off topic in this thread. Thanks in advance hank and I always value your comment.

When i checked my wife's ceac account there was a missing document suddenly required from us. It says from w-2 wage and tax statement missing. We haven't received any email from NVC or USEM to provide these documents. I assume these are my 2019 tax documents. We only submitted 2016-18 tax statements when we compeleted her DS260 last year. What do you think?

Thanks again.

Did you submit transcripts or 1040s and W-2 ?  (NVC likes transcripts)     2019 isn't required until after 15 April.     The notice said you were missing a W-2 and tax statement but it didn't state what year?
