Try TransUnion or Equafax website.. see if they give you a different error message. You can still write to them if you wanted. But it will take 3 weeks to get a response.

Thanks. I tried the other 2 also and didn't have any luck. We are planning on submitting our AOS package this weekend, so maybe ill just write a letter explaining the situation...

I'm pretty sure that's what others have done and were fine. Include the screenshot you have already.

Hi Everyone,

I've read this thread and got a question regarding I944 Page 5 Question 7 "Is any of the additional income listed above from an illegal activity or source?"

I do not receive any additional income so that question 6 section does not apply to me at all. As a result, do I answer No to question 7 or should I leave it blank?

Thanks in advance!

I left it blank, just checked. I had N/A in any possible space in that section but since that one doesn't have an N/A option, I didn't answer it.

My husband applied for one immediately upon arriving as a K-1 and he has one.  However, I still get all of the error reports too.  It seems the best option from calling and speaking to representatives on the phone is trying to request one by mail.  They will have to send *something* back that says they can't issue one, and hopefully that can be used.

My trouble now is that I need to prove our address as his address to request by mail and so far don't have any bills with his name. Grrr!

I applied for SSN just after wedding in October. Got official denial letter in March. In the letter this said that my visa expired however i applied when my visa was still not.

So, I watched some immigration lawyers videos during filling this form. I don’t receive any benefits, don’t have credit score, have health insurance. Benefits count only if you or your spouse receiving them after February 24. About debts and credit score that is only about applicant, so i did n/a. Better to not have any negative factors And pass this public charge test.

Here is good video from immigration lawyer https://youtu.be/xHExCRtI85o

If you don't have credit report, you need to provide evidence. It totally makes sense if you just arrived USA and have nothing to provide. You can show a page that shows no credit scores available and also provide some bills you paid on time before as evidence of good credits. Just provide as much as you can I think. Here are some more information

Hi everyone. I have a question about question #10: is this specifically asking for the foreign applicant's debts, or the household's debts? The rest of this section specifically asks for information on "you or your household", while this question just says "a list of your liabilities" and doesn't mention the household. I assume this means that the household's debts do not need to be listed, am I correct in this, or am I missing something?

You are correct. It is asking for foreign applicant's debt only.

For foreign bachelor's degree, is it necessary to provide course-by-course evaluation? Or a general equivalency report is sufficient?

Course by course evaluation is needed for your job or continuing study in U.S.That provide credit hours for each discipline that you learned in college. For form I-944 you need to write credit hours only if you didn’t finished that. So, I didn’t did evaluation for this form, just filled my bachelor and master’s degrees and add copies of diplomas (i didn’t translate them cause part of this is in English That officer can see that i finished that).

Thank you for sharing this information. Yes, i tried to get report from following site but they need SSN which I don’t have for now. We with my husband tried today to do this for him and this went well. Also i add to my documents some bills to me to prove my address and we with my husband is one household.

So my foreign undergraduate diploma is fully in English and I have submitted this along with I-944. Then I have one completed masters in the US and one ongoing masters in the US - for these, I have submitted diploma and # of credits completed respectively. Do you think there's something missing for any of these?
