Timeline

It looks like there are only a few cases that are getting approved for February filers. When I saw some were getting approved I was elated because we also filed February, and I started anticipating. I’ve been checking this thread  but there wasn’t much update since Monday. I was just surprised but then again it’s only the 6th month, they have til 7th month to respond. Lol

Oh shoot, it looks like I shouldn't get my hopes up seeing all these approvals for Feb filers. I was basing the 7 months response time for the I-130 petition when I filed for my dad as a US citizen and it only took about that much time before his case was approved. This petition that we are working on is for his wife whom I was not able to petition for since their marriage occurred after my 18th birthday. Anyway my dad is a permanent resident and filed a petition for his wife in February (F2A) and it looks like it will take 12.5-16 mos before we hear anything! I hate this wait
