The information on your USCIS portal is the latest information that is available. Calling USCIS is a waste of time since they only reference the same information.

I hope everyone is doing well.

I received 2 separate I944 request mail (for my parents). I was praying it wouldn't come..but kinda expected it.

Thankfully I have majority of the stuff already. (assets, house, etc)

Where should I get their credit scores from? I usually use credit Karma but some people are saying that it's not good enough..

Happy New Year to yall!!

My parent's IR-5 visa applications are at the NVC waiting for an interview schedule at the embassy (Dad's DQ in Aug/Sep, Mom's in Dec). As we all know that IR-5 immigration was put on hold in March and was set to expire Dec 31, 2020, did anyone hear anything about it just yet? I tried searching online but couldnt find anything, hope the whole process gets resumed...

Here comes a better year, 2021. Cheers! 😊

Got an RFE from NVC for several documents but I am confused why my birth certificate got rejected. That is my original scanned document. I am naturalized citizen so my birth certificate is from the Philippines, and it is from the authorized agency. I am not sure where else can I get my birth certificate.

I got one too because my birth was registered 3 years after I was born. This is a common practice in my country, before uscis was ok without but after 2017 they will require secundary evidence for all births registered a year or more after the birth, didn't know that until now, so I am gathering as much documents as I can to send it next month.

School record

Baptism certificate

Affidavit of two relatives

And photos

Hi Vietnamese friends,

do you know how long it takes from the time NVC approve your DS-260 form to the time your parents get the interview notice from the consulate in HCMC?

Thanks
