  1. Thanks for the update. When did you receive your interview notification letter?
  2. Great! Thanks for confirming. And I wish y'all good luck with your process
  3. Great! Thanks for confirming. Does this link guarantee a joint interview at the embassy?
  4. Thanks for confirming, I also confirmed that this means both cases are indeed linked, and I went ahead and completed the IV fee payment. And yes, you're right, I went through I-864 instructions and it's clear that we will need 2 separate forms for each parent.
  5. Hi, I filed I-130 forms for my parents, and they were approved 4 months apart. My mother's NVC case number was created 4 months ago, her AOS and IV fees were paid, and IV application (Form DS-260) was submitted. We kept the remaining steps on hold until my father gets approved so they can proceed in the NVC process together and have a joint interview at the embassy. My father's I-130 was approved this week, and earlier this morning, we received the NVC case creation email for him, with a new case number, different than my mother's case number that was created 4 months ago. What surprised me is that the AOS fee in my father's NVC case that was just created is shown as (Paid), but I can't find any other indication that both cases are linked. Does this mean that both cases are already linked? Or do I still need to call/email NVC to link them? What about financial documents to be uploaded, will uploading it in one case be automatically reflected on the other case? Or I'll be uploading the same documents twice? I'm going to have a joint sponsor. Thanks in advance.
  6. We received a case status update for my father's case earlier this morning (Case Was Sent to The Department of State), as well as the NVC case creation email, with a new case number, different than my mother's case number that was created 4 months ago. What surprised me is that the AOS fee in my father's NVC case that was just created is shown as (Paid), but I can't find any other indication that both cases are linked. Shall I proceed with paying my father's IV fee? What about financial documents to be uploaded, will uploading it in one case be automatically reflected on the other case? Or I'll be uploading it twice?
  7. Good news! My dad's I-130 has finally been approved today. The date on the approval notice is 9/3, but it only showed up today along with the approval status change. His approval notice was issued from TSC even though his receipt notice came from NSC (I was aware of this transfer because I called USCIS few weeks ago asking about the current service center processing his case). We didn't receive the NVC welcome email yet. And we've been holding on completing my mom's NVC process until receiving dad's I-130 approval, so they can go through the NVC process together. Thankfully both I-130's were smoothly approved despite the 126-day gap between them. Hoping for IV's to become available again by the beginning of 2021.
  8. Thanks. You can call USCIS and check which service center is currently processing it. My father's case was transferred from NSC to TSC, and I only discovered this by calling this week.
  9. Congrats! Can you please share more details? Priority date? Which services centers did you receive your receipt and approval notices from?
  10. Just a quick update. My dad’s I-130 is still pending. I called USCIS, and I was told that Texas Service Center is working on it, even though it was at Nebraska before.
  11. Not yet. I will be waiting for father's approval because everything is on hold anyway since embassies are closed. I'm also curious what's the best approach to combine father and mother IV applications in NVC stage, I read that contacting NVC after father's approval can get it combined, but if others can provide advise on how exactly to do it and their experiences, it would be highly appreciated.
  12. Applied for both parents on 2/11, got approval for mom on 5/6 (Nebraska), received NVC email on 5/9, and completed AOS & IV payments on 5/9. Still waiting on dad's.
