Thanks. You can call USCIS and check which service center is currently processing it. My father's case was transferred from NSC to TSC, and I only discovered this by calling this week.

After they approved your case do they have to go to interview in their own country?

After the I 130 is approved the case goes to the NVC for submission of all required documentation. When all the documentation is complete and correctly submitted,  the case is transferred to the consulate where the interview will take place .. usually the home country .. however applicants can have their interview in another country if they legally reside in that country

Applied for both parents on 2/11, got approval for mom on 5/6 (Nebraska), received NVC email on 5/9, and completed AOS & IV payments on 5/9. Still waiting on dad's.

Good news!

My dad's I-130 has finally been approved today.

The date on the approval notice is 9/3, but it only showed up today along with the approval status change.

His approval notice was issued from TSC even though his receipt notice came from NSC (I was aware of this transfer because I called USCIS few weeks ago asking about the current service center processing his case).

We didn't receive the NVC welcome email yet.

And we've been holding on completing my mom's NVC process until receiving dad's I-130 approval, so they can go through the NVC process together. Thankfully both I-130's were smoothly approved despite the 126-day gap between them.

Hoping for IV's to become available again by the beginning of 2021.

I have some good news too!! After months of waiting My father’s case has been approved today ☺️☺️☺️ I thought it will be a 2yrs wait since his case was transferred from Nebraska to Vermont. I am now just waiting for the NVC email. I am so glad we can move on to the next process now both for my parents, since I have not started my mother’s case yet at NVC. Hoping to hear more good news from all of you ☺️

We received a case status update for my father's case earlier this morning (Case Was Sent to The Department of State), as well as the NVC case creation email, with a new case number, different than my mother's case number that was created 4 months ago.

What surprised me is that the AOS fee in my father's NVC case that was just created is shown as (Paid), but I can't find any other indication that both cases are linked.

Shall I proceed with paying my father's IV fee?

What about financial documents to be uploaded, will uploading it in one case be automatically reflected on the other case? Or I'll be uploading it twice?
