im starting this thread to get the latest updates of all the ppl who are in AP

i want you all to write down your interview date, your visa category  ,For how long your case is in ap and every time you get any update or mail from the embassy. Keep everyone updated please

So... What you're asking for is everyone to maintain a Immigration Timeline? That's already a feature on the site, and a feature you aren't using.

Go to https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/14-site-related-discussion-updates-ideas-etc/ and create a thread to add a field "extended AP" to the table.   Members are not going want to provide or update multiple datasets.

The OP wants to track whether a petition is in AP.  I suggested he ask to have  field added in the timeline for that

You can pretty much rationalize that anyone that interviewed and did not receive a visa is in AP if there result is not refused or approved.

Every case goes through AP. Some take days, some take weeks, some take months, and some even take years.

Sometimes AP is just used to complete final processing before issuing the visa.

Sometimes AP has a specific reason, such as missing documents.

Sometimes AP has an unspecific reason, like supervisor review, document verification, or background checks.

 

The difficulty in having people post about AP timelines in a thread is that the cause of AP varies so much even within the same consulate (and across consulates), so it's practical usage is minimal.

Possibly having a timeline field may or may not show somewhat of a pattern among people with > x days of wait (i.e. anybody waiting in AP over 30 days, over 60 days, over 90 days, etc.). No way to know for sure until the data is collected, although anecdotal evidence does indicate some commonalities.

Dude i dont want anyone to contribute. You can have your contributions to yourself.  I don’t find the option to delete my post otherwise i would have done that . And whatever i knew abt my case ive updated that. I don’t know much cuz my husband deals with everything. And I don’t have my documents at the moment otherwise i would have done that
