Hello, my fiance is waiting for his interview we've still yet received any information about it. They still haven't received his package for his interview and I'm worried and don't know what to do! I already asked him to try to get all his paperwork again and mail it out however with him being in Germany the first time he asked for all the paperwork it took a month or so! I've already asked my lawyer what I should do and I've asked the Frankfurt offices around every other week whether they've received it or not and they keep saying no.. Idk what to do because I don't want this entire process to be cancelled and have to go through it all again and pay everything again! I need help and guidance! What should I do?

Could you please fill out your timeline? That will help members a lot to answer your questions 😊

When did you received your case number from the NVC?

It's been the holidays so don't expect them to work super fast anywhere. They'll probably get back to fulltime working next week. You can check timelines from other members from Germany ( like me ) to get an idea of how long the single steps will take the Frankfurt consulate. Also you can join the german subforum here on VJ for country specific questions.

No worries, you'll get there 😊

I did it with the best of my knowledge since I'm at work rn. My issue is that we (he) sent the paperwork required for his interview back in November and they're still saying they haven't received it. So it's stressing me out lol. I've already send 2 extension letters. The most recent one was in December. I just don't want to have to go through this whole process a second time.. 🙁

Did he sent it with a tracking number so that you can confirm it reached them? Frankfurt seems to be a little backlogged. It's like that since summer.

Just keep your patience, they'll get back to you. And you definitely won't get a respond for the extension letter. They'll just add it to your file. Experienced that myself 😊

NOTE: They will send you the P3 through the mail. There are some documents that need to be completed which you will return and then your interview is assigned. The I-134 requires a "wet" signature so send early enough to arrive in time for the interview.

It really is a simple and stress-less process. You do what they ask of you and you wait. Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Everything through this process can be corrected if a mistake is made. You're not the first to be in this position and the others got their visa's and you will too. Just trust the process.

This exactly. If you constantly compare your case to other cases, you will drive yourself insane. Take a deep breath and just let it happen. USCIS, NVC and the consulates know what they're doing, they process millions of visas every, single year.

Yeah I'm really trying lol! I just wish I knew whether they received the information or not, because then we'd have to resend it and i'd have to send another extension letter are the only two things that are triggering me lol

Actually there's a limit. Your NOA2 is good for up to a year. So by that time you need to be done. Worst case send everything again. He won't need any originals from your side so you can just mail him everything. He would need to get a new police and birth certificate as they need to be originals.

When did he sent the stuff to Frankfurt?

If he sent it with tracking, he knows if they received it. If he didn’t, resend it with tracking

A while back some were saying that the embassy in Germany were requiring wet signatures for the I-134. Is this no longer the case. I'm asking as you have instructed the OP that no originals from the USC.

Good question. In my case I didnt had the wet signature one at my interview in September and nobody asked for it.
