Had go-ahead from Mrs. T-B. to find our own lunch, bachelor activity we man.

 

We were in a highly Hispanic area, nearly Spanish than English signs man.

First restaurant closed for business, oh well man.

Second restaurant serving only soup, not substantial enough man.

Many'rd restaurant serving only pupusas, what a strange concept man.

Many'th restaurant serving limited menu, but we'd tired of looking, hungering we man.

 

We had a "torta Cubana," sort of a Mexican sandwich man.

It was OK, surprisingly filling, and didn't upset our system, Hat Trick man.

Nevertheless, we will not order one by choice again, one-time experiment man.

 

Although it worked out, we will not seek to eat in that neighborhood again, no man.

After lunch, we were quite tired but would have needed a shower before napping, one of those days man.

Therefore, we decided to mow the front yard, some grass and staggeringly many not-our-oak-leaves man.

Mulched many not-our-oak-leaves and blew crumbs off pavement, die forever you suckers man.

Showered and napped, Clean for Gene and zzz we man.

 

Upon awakening, we noted a steady heavy rain outside, brief-but-soaking man.

All remaining leaf-crumbs warshed away, bye you suckers man.

Front law cleanest & shiniest in the neighborhood, guessed right again we man.

There's a lot of crud about at the moment. NWA Uni has about 20 cases of mumps for heavens sake.  You might get looked at Ontarkie, the flu this year is pretty nasty.

Anyone have New Year's Eve plans? 

We don't go out anymore. He isn't allowed drink, and doesn't like to be up late. I don't know of anything going on around here either, and don't really want to be on the roads.

 

My plan is to be in bed with a new book by 21:00, read for a while and go to sleep. Herself's Plan runs contrary to that. She will come to bed when I do, and pass out on the pillow almost at once. But when the fireworks/guns start up at midnight she will turn into a panting, wild eyed shivering shaking mess. Even wearing her thundercoat and having doggie downers on board.

Ye lots of crud for sure. Neg for flu and I'm the only one sick. I'm starting to think tic bite although my doctored tried to me there aren't any here that carry lime.

We just cook up a lot of snack foods and watch movies with the kids. Oh and bought sparkling juice for them.

Have you ever been tested for lyme disease?  

Omg maybe this https://www.cdc.gov/ehrlichiosis/index.html they should check for that!

Long shot, but you might ask the doctor to check your B12 and iron levels. It's something they rarely look at. I'm thankful mine did before it was too late. Baring that it wouldn't hurt to look at lyme. I presume you've had mono in your life, but it's always possible that can reactivate.
