I think the president is a coward when it comes to helping our kids, who are afraid of gun violence. I think he is cruel when he doesn't deal with helping our Dreamers, of which we're very proud. I think he's in denial about the climate crisis

 

Can feel that burn, where she bumbles into 2020 stumping about climate, Dreamers, etc. when the issue is impeachment, and supposedly serious. Also inadvertently points out that this is entirely about the 2020 election, rather than actual crimes that need to be dealt with right now, tries to correct it afterwards.

She's said on multiple occasions that she prays for Trump. So does my grandmother, who is Catholic like Leader Pelosi, even though she doesn't like him at all. (Personally I do not believe but I send up my non-believing wishes of goodwill into the world and the skies instead of "prayers," because using that word seems hypocritical, even though it's really what they are. And I do send those wishes out for Trump too, because I *do* wish that he would govern with more temperance and reflection than he is. I don't think that's a belief that is kept to either of the main political parties.)

 

Tsk for using gendered language like "shrew" Nature Boy -- there are other, less gender-specific words that you could use to describe her, like jerk. Honestly, the one I would think of if I didn't like her is NOT a family-friendly one at all but it is distinctly non-gendered and it is much like an opinion.  But I will behave.

You missed the entire point. She parsed the tension over policy and the tension over Trump's attempt to circumvent his lawful role precisely.

And then invoked her religion.  Wonder why she is not a Catholic when it comes to abortion?  Regardless, based on her response to the simple question, it seems like it hit pretty close to home.  As I have said many times, the Dems are doing exactly what they accuse the President of doing.

Nancy seemed to be acting quite the monarch in her conference yesterday.  She essentially went against everything she is on the record as saying back during the Clinton impeachment and as recently as a few months ago.  Well, Nancy will get her wish, there will be a bipartisan vote on impeachment and it will be against.

Now now, young Bill, we have no way of knowing the vote will go against.  There exists a chance that they will unanimously vote to impeach Trump.
