3/18/2021 - Card delivered! 
3/18/2021 - Card mailed 
3/16/2021 - Approved
3/15/2021 - New card ordered
3/9/2021 - Interview completed and your case must be reviewed. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action. (I had to go in with some updated and signed medical form as something was missing in the initially submitted form and they gave me an appointment for the following week)
1/22/2021 - Scheduled interview
1/19/2021 - Ready to schedule for interview

1/15/2021 (1 year and 2 months!) - Case status changed to interview cancelled! :(

12/9/2021 (1 year and 1 month) - Case status changed to interview scheduled

1/21/2020 (Day 73) - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

12/12/2019 (Day 33) - Biometrics Appointment. Case status online updated to fingerprints received.

12/6/2019 (Day 27) - Called USCIS customer care and received an email copy of biometrics notice as I had misplaced the original one

11/22/2019 (Day 20) - Received biometrics notice letter for 12/12 biometrics appointment (No status changes in online USCIS case trackers)

11/18/2019 (Day 9) - USCIS charged credit card. Received text notifications from USCIS with case number (Checked case numbers to see following statuses: 11/12 - Case was received, 11/18 - Fingerprint fee was received)

11/10/2019 (Day 1) - USPS notification of delivery to USCIS

Looks like yours took around 9 to 10 months. Unfortunate that Dallas is so slow unfortunate for us that is. I don't understand why because there are other even larger cites that are faster than Dallas

11/04/2020 - Received the Interview appointment letter - scheduled in old state North Carolina for December 3rd

11/05/2020 - Called USCIS and requested to talk to Tier 2 officer - opened an SR

11/06/2020 - Received an email that the request was closed as they couldn't contact me - but they didn't

11/09/2020 - Opened another SR to talk to a Tier 2 officer

11/16/2020 - Tier 2 officer called and said that we need to interview at our home state, but I could take a chance and go to North Carolina.  So I requested to reschedule interview at Dallas, TX.

11/16/2020 - Received an email with a Referral ID and that my request was submitted to NBC

11/17/2020 - Received an email - my request to reschedule interview has been forwarded to a scheduling department

11/17/2020 - Received an email with my Case status: Testing and Interview and now it has the status - 'Request to reschedule my appointment was received'

12/31/2020 - We cancelled your interview

12/31/2020 - I-485 updated to ‘Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview’

01/12/2021 - Interview was scheduled (received an email as well)

 

EAD/AP renewal:

11/10/2020 - Shipped EAD/AP renewal documents via USPS

11/12/2020 - USCIS received the documents

11/18/2020 - Received 2 texts with the Receipt numbers for I-765 and I-131, Case Status was - 'Case was Received and a receipt notice was emailed' for both the cases. Received no emails though

Thank you for the reassurance, hopefully that's what it is. It made me worry for a while if my case was skipped somehow but you're right it doesn't seem to be in a strict order.

Thts true cases aren’t processed in the order received.

So the disappointing thing was that my interview is scheduled in Charlotte,NC. 

Even though I changed my address, even confirmed with the representatives and always selected my husbands address for all immigration communication etc. 

like even this interview letter reached me at my new Texas address.

 

even for that question on I-130 - the beneficiary will apply for adjustment of status in which state - I selected Dallas, Texas 

 

so I don’t get how this mistake could have happened. I’m like beyond disappointed because this will put me wayyyy back in the queue

Hi, very sorry about that. USCIS is really messy with address updates. But are you not able to travel to Charlotte for interview? I think on approval your GC will be mailed to current address.

I don’t mind going to Charlotte but unfortunately they don’t have jurisdiction over my case unless it is transferred by the Dallas  field office to Charlotte intentionally which is never done for AOS through marriage usually.

 

oh well. 2020 doesn’t seem to get any better for me 😔

This sounds complicated 😔 What action is required on your side now. Since its an administrative error,  can Congressman intervene and help transfer your case to Dallas and prioritize your interview?

If it is an error, you have grounds to expedite...   I would call the Dallas office and request it.   Much luck to you!!!

Hey Guys

 

I am waiting for my GC interview too. We live in Dallas and filed from Dallas.

My timeline as below:

Application package mailed to USCIS: Feb.04,2020

I-485 received date: Feb.10,2020

Notice date: Feb.14,2020

Fingerprint done: March.12

Case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview: April.02,2020

 

How can I know which is my filed office or service center? I saw on my I-485 notice letter left bottom corner it shows USCIS National Benefits Center, does it mean my case is processing at NBC office? And from the USCIS processing site I don't see the option for NBC office......Can anyone help to explain,tks so much.

I filed I-485 at Feb.04 fingerprint done at March.12, and now status is since April.02 showing: Case if ready to be scheduled for an interview

Do you have any update news on your GC interview schedule?

 

Dallas is your field office.     We are still waiting...   we’re estimating that we will change status and interview scheduled in December or January.    Crossing our fingers and we are very glad Biden is going to be in office soon!!

01/02/20 Social Security Card - Changed Name

01/11/20 G1145, I485, I864, I131, i765 - FedEx - Sent

01/13/20 Texas DL - Passed Written Test and Received Driving Permit with Restrictions

01/15/20 Texas DL - Passed Driving Test and Received Temporary DL - Restrictions Removed

01/14/20 G1145, I485, I864, I131, I765 - Fed Ex - Delivered

01/17/20 NOA1 - I485, I131, I765 - Notice Date

01/21/20 Apply for Capital One Secured Credit Card to Establish Credit File to buy Auto

01/21/20 The 3 USCIS Text Received (7 Days Later)

01/22/20 Funds pulled from account by ACH Debit  $1225 (8 Days Later)

01/27/20 NOA1 - I485, I131, I765 - Received in the Mail

01/28/20 90 Day K1 Admittance and Driver License Expire

01/28/20 Renew DL - Use NOA1

01/15/2021  Status changed to Interview Scheduled

01/22/2021  Interview Noticed Received in the Mail

2/23/2021  Interview for the I485 and verbal Approval

2/24/2021  I485 Status changed:  New Card is being approved

2/26/2021  I485 Status changed:  Card Was Mailed To Me

How can I know which is my filed office or service center? I saw on my I-485 notice letter left bottom corner it shows USCIS National Benefits Center, does it mean my case is processing at NBC office? And from the USCIS processing site I don't see the option for NBC office......Can anyone help to explain,tks so much.

 

 

My case was at the NBC too, it's temporary. Once they process it and it's ready for an interview they send it to the local USCIS office which is the Dallas office for us. We have similar timelines and we're still waiting..

According to the immigration timelines here they are processing people from Oct 2019, I don't think we will get anything before 2021 :/ 

AOS from K1

January 31, 2020:  Sent AOS application packet.

February 4, 2020: NOA date.

February 10, 2020: NOAs received.

February 19, 2020: Biometrics notice received.

February 25, 2020: Biometrics Appt.

August 18, 2020: EAD Approval notice.

August 27, 2020: EAD card received.

August 28, 2020: " Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview " 

September 21, 2020: SNN card received.

January 14, 2021: " Interview was scheduled "

January 22, 2021 : Interview letter received.

February 24, 2021 : Interview day.

February 24, 2021 : " New card is being produced "

February 25, 2021 : " Case was approved "

March 2, 2021 : Approval Letter received in the mail

March 3, 2021 : " Card was picked up by the USPS "

March 3, 2021 : " Notice was returned to the USCIS because the Post Office could not deliver it "

March 4, 2021 : Green Card received in the mail

March 5, 2021 : " Card was delivered to me by the Post Office "

March 7, 2021 : " Duplicate Notice was mailed "
