I am trying to provide proof of an ongoing relationship with my fiance and wanted to provide the video chat history from Facebook. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Is this for the petition or interview?

YMMV

This is for the petition.

Ongoing relationship evidence is not a  requirement for the petition

Maybe my wording is incorrect. I am trying to provide proof of the relationship.

Proof of meeting is what is needed,  not proof of relationship.   Relationship evidence comes at the interview phase

YMMV

While this is true, OP may be looking to front load the petition.  Rather than say "not needed" it might be more helpful to just answer the question - that said, I don't know the answer! :)  I don't use FB but I think a quick google search would get you what you need.  I took a quick look  and there are Youtube videos explaining how to do it for chat logs - but not sure about video logs.

What is the country where the visa interview will take place?  Birth country of beneficiary?  Any red flags like a big age gap?  How many times have you been together in person, for how many days/weeks/months?  These questions are important, because high-fraud countries have a higher bar for evidence of the relationship at the interview so front-loading evidence of the relationship may or may not be needed.  Think London vs. Lagos.  Same age vs. a big gap of 30 years.  More information about your case would be helpful if you want the best advice.  Good luck!

not sure if you want clarity on IF you should do this to provide proof of relationship or literally HOW to do it but maybe just screenshot the communications? when I applied for my husband's k1 visa I screenshot various random messages from out WhatsApp and made sure the dates were visible in the screenshots and printed it out.

Facebook Messenger used to show you call logs and the duration of the call. It's since been removed from the Messenger app. But I thought since others might be collecting this information as proof of an ongoing relationship someone would know where to find it if available.

Have you tried seeing them in a different phone than yours? For whatsapp calls for example Android phones show very detailed information which is not available on iphones.

If anyways you can't get   the information you what, try moving to whatsapp intead for future proof. Good luck 🌟🌞

i cant answer your question but can tell you its unecessary.

provide proof of MEETING. Boarding passes, passport stamps, credit card statements showing charges there, a few photos, etc.

no one is going to look through call or chat logs. at least not more than a cursory glance, at best. And it is not what their decision will be based on.

You can download all your data from Facebook, here’s the process. https://www.dataislife.net/download-entire-facebook-account-data-2019/

I did this once out of curiosity. It’s neatly separated into folders and files. Then you just have to look for the appropriate file. I will say I don’t remember whether there is an actual list of calls, but I don’t do calls via FB anyway.
