You can just walk in to a biometrics centre once you have the appointment letter, if their scheduled date isn't convenient for you.

 

I've done this myself twice :)

It'll take many months. Those of us who are California filers and who filed in April 2019 just received our biometrics. So count on a 7 month wait for biometrics.

You're gonna be waiting a while, in fact we're all going to be waiting a while... Lady I work with filed ROC in May 2019 and she had her biometric appointment last week...
