I got an email confirmation saying my I-129 packet was received on the 18th with my receipt number, and the money was taken out of my bank account. But I am still waiting on the hard copy in the mail. Is my NOA1 from when they received it and got my receipt number(11/18) or when I eventually get my hard copy in the mail?

I think you are asking what date you should use for your timeline but your a little unclear what you are asking. You can use that date and then when the hard copy of the NOA1 arrives (give a few weeks) then you can use the dates from it to complete your timeline. One hurtle down many more to come.

We need a little housekeeping from you will if you please. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

In my case, my fiance got the hard copy in his mail box exactly a week after he got noa1 by text. u will see on the top right of ur hard copy it'll stated the "notice date". That's your noa1 date.. for me it's the same date as the date when we got the text.

I was really hoping to hear something back about mine before the holiday but seems like I will be waiting until next week! I would like the peace of mind though!

Hi everyone! I sent my petition on 11/20, it was received on 11/21. My card was charged on 11/25 and I received a text on 11/26, no email. I’m still waiting on hard copy of NOA1

Our petition packet was mailed on 11/14 to Dallas, TX, got a text confirmation saying it was received on 11/18, notice date on 11/22,  just got the hard copy of the NOA1 today 11/29 from California! 🥳
While I felt like I was going to be doing the packet forever, it feels so good to be making progress, even if it’s just small steps.

Probably a stupid question, but do I need to list that my case was transferred on my timeline since it’s in California now?

Good luck everyone!

Your case  was NOT  transferred only routed, if your case is transferred USCIS will send you a letter, so the answer is no. Most all K1s go to California.

My check has yet to be cashed though, which I find odd. I was checking my bank often so I was surprised to get the notification before my $$ was taken

Don't  worry about that, that is your least worry! Uncle Sam will get his money!

I also just noticed that USCIS misspelled my fiancee's second name on our NOA1, they wrote IsAbel instead of IsObel. I'm terrified of an RFE but I'm glad I caught the mistake. Do I call the center in California to correct them? I was so happy just to have gotten the NOA1 until I just realized the misspelling..

We're finally part of the waiters! Got the NOA1 text and email on the 27th. Now I just need to mail out a few documents that I forgot to put in the envelope, with our case number, to complete the package.

It would have been an RFE for sure so hopefully this completes everything with no additional problems.
