You know, I've been paying more attention to Tulsi Gabbard since we had that conversation. I still don't think she's a top tier candidate (and I'm not so sure Harris is any more either), but in general I think she's a decent candidate. However, I just don't think she's ready for the job yet. I have given her campaign some money though since we discussed her on here because I think her voice is an important one we should continue to listen to in the nomination process.

Just following up on this, because Alex and I were talking just now about Tulsi Gabbard as he was literally reading a Reddit post about this topic as I was posting here. He sent it to me, and I don''t really know what to think about it yet, because there are a TON of links to follow in the very first comment: 

He is just starting to get interested in the nomination process, since it is really foreign to him to have an election cycle that lasts this long. He's got an open mind, since he has no vote obviously, but he's curious about Gabbard since he's been reading this "something is up with Gabbard" narrative longer than I've been aware of it. 

 

UGH I was just starting to wind down and now I'm awake and thinking about Tulsi instead of going to sleep.

I feel bad that I got sucked into the Reddit hole this past year. I have had to make two accounts because I was banned from the Immigration subforum. But one account is mainly at looking at good looking Filipinas and being an ### in the NC forums. The other one is mainly for helping on the Immigration subforum and trying to talk some sense in the NC forum.

I found the Reddit subforum for r/BarPrep to be unbelievably supportive at a time I felt I was losing my mind. Shockingly for Reddit, people were calm, rational and good at talking people off the ledge. I have returned the favor by going back and doling out pep talks. 

 

I've looked at the r/immigration (or whatever it's called) and just noped out of there.  Good on ya for sticking around.

Best sub hands down, r/eatasandwich. The debates about whether a taco is a sandwich pits brother against brother. The updates in Popeyes Chicken sandwiches are value added.

Yeah I know right..... The immigration subforum is awful at best.Half the time it's people posting random immigration articles and the other half of the time it's immigration questions with dumb responses like  " Did.You request your SSN when you got your K1" , basically implying that you request the SSN when applying for the K1. Then that person got mad when I corrected them..

They only have 1 Mod in that subforum that is active

LOL indeed! I took a yearlong+ break from Facebook entirely. I guess I know who you are but we may have bowed out of the group at the same time. I had a lot going on in terms of school and work and a convalescing boyfriend, and it made sense to walk away for a while. I'm back, sort of, but really only to be in that group. (It's a very safe space for snowflakes like yours truly.) As for FB overall... occasionally I post something. Like the 10th anniversary of bringing my babycat home from the shelter, or my "hey errybody it are my anniversary with my MAN" but that's  about it. I also blocked pretty much all of my family except for my brother and his wife and kids. I come from a family of Irish Catholic lunatics and I was done with the madness.

Naah its an old fake account. Like I said I have not even signed onto that account in forever. I think many of us know the true super hero identity of each other.  I am FB friends with some in here

No, she was booted.  Unfairly so, if I may throw out my opinion.  She deserved better as a long-term member in good standing.
