Well, if that were true, I'd still be watching Netflix in my old house in Pasadena, waiting for my ex to come home and tell me how I've disappointed him in some way. I decided to go with someone a little less wealthy this time, no regrets.

That's a very generous offer, but I *kind* of think that I'm doing pretty well these days. Besides my sister-in-law-to-be and my ex fooling around with each other (yes, this has happened, beyond the realms of the surreal), things aren't too bad. Not sure what things are going to be like at this wedding I'm going to over the weekend where the ex and Alex have to be in each other's presence, but if anything kicks off, rest assured I will let you know. 

 

I mean, if you MUST give me like a daily affirmation or something, go for it, especially if it's free. Free is one of my favorite prices (that's a 100% dad joke special, no charge for you).

I can get into his Hulu (I think I mentioned this -- easy to guess his password) but I am NOT doing that because I have some morals!

Well as we well know, your ex is an idiot.  Nothing wrong with all citizens voting, but the Senate should have been left to represent the states as opposed to stumping for the popular votes in the states.

Well, the time shift may make for some early morning (Pacific time) posting. Wish me luck, I have to deal with the following:

(1) ex v. fiance showdown (disaster in the making, much booze at reception)

(2) having first time with my stepdaughter-to-be when I'm not just her mum and dad's friend

(3) spending time with skeptical mother-in-law-to-be (she knows me well but only as my ex's spouse, and thinks my ex was the one who was treated poorly, not me)

(4) spending time with sister-in-law-to-be (who recently had some sort of affair with my ex)

 

IT'S GOING TO BE JUST FINE!!! I brought some Xanax, for the times when drinking isn't appropriate. I'll catch you all from the club lounge. 😎
