Google is your friend for FL marriage license requirements 

 

You don't need SSN to file AOS

No US state requires a SSN in order to obtain a marriage license. However if you do have an SSN then you're obligated by federal law to provide that number on your application.

I didn't know that...are you certain (I'm not implying otherwise...I just didn't know) since states make their individual marriage laws/requirements.

I married in August 2019 in Escambia County, no SSN was required. Just ID (used my passport) and payment for the fees required.

Though I think someone posted something here that seemed to indicate Idaho requires an SSN if you're eligible for one (even if you don't currently have one), which was kind of weird.

 

For the OP

- You should file for an SSN soon after arriving on a K-1, and before you get married (you are legally able to until two weeks before the 90 days runs out), because lots of businesses and government agencies will ask for one and dealing with things when you don't have one can be difficult. However, you don't need to wait until you get one to get married or file for AOS.
