You could’ve attached Form G-1145 to the top of your application to get an acceptance text and email.

I attached Form G-1145, but I didn’t get any notification.  The NOA came by mail the 4th day after submission .

Yes I heard for some people it doesn’t work. It always worked for me so far although maybe not this time either. They received my package Monday and so far nothing... not even cash checked, I’m getting slightly nervous.

How do you know which center your case is assigned to? Will it say on the receipt notice or can you learn this from the receipt number they texted to us?

The law is the law, even if it would have been received at 11:30 PM on the day before your window opens it would have been rejected.

Otherwise there would be people that would send their I-751 whenever they want after receiving their Conditional Green Card.

It's a different story when filing with a divorce waiver, you can file at any time after you get the divorce decree.

The first three letters of your receipt will indicate the Service Center that is handling your case.

LIN - Nebraska Service Center

WAC - California Service Center

EAC - Vermont Service Center

SRC - Texas Service Center

MSC - National Benefits Center

YSC - Potomac Service Center

What does your receipt number start with?

First, thanks for letting me know what “the law” is. Where would we be without snarky people on forums? Second, USCIS has and does accept I-751’s (without divorce waiver) before the 90 day window. Someone in the Sept 2019 filers just had it happen. So, maybe hold back on your shame attempts there. USCIS is inconsistent at times. We all know that to be true at this point in the process. Ours was 2 days early. They could have placed it in a basket and dealt with it in 2 days rather than waste postage money returning it.

Thanks for the info on the service centers.

I was not trying to be snarky. I have never seen people being accepted before the 90 days when filing jointly. That's all.

If that was how you interpreted, I apologize.

Good luck.

Check not cashed yet

My service center is California which means a long wait time from what I’ve seen (compared to some other centers) but I’m just glad I don’t have to worry about this thing for a at least a little while.

It always worked for me so far but someone in this thread said it didn’t work for him/her either so 🤷🏻‍♀️
I mean I wouldn’t worry about if your cash got checked and better you already even received your extension letter.
