Send my package on 16 OCT 19 from Germany (currently stationed here due to Military) and it arrived in Dallas Texas yesterday. Patiently waiting for a notification.

However I also received the letter that my case is ready for my new application and it was sent to our old address. Had to call USCIS and he said it wasn't changed in the system and he changed it and I should receive a confirmation letter within 30 Days.

I guess my question is how likely is it that my current case notifications are being sent to the correct address? Unfortunately I did not get the letter until my packet was sent off.

Sometimes the system still makes mistakes.

Not sure if you’re CR1 and the sponsor  but if so, you could file the I-865.

other ways to ensure you get notified:

- officially request change of address via USPS online and forward your mail to a new address

- sign up for MyUSCIS, add your case via the receipt number, toggle notifications and enter your email

good luck!

Guys, I changed my address online but what number do I call USCIS to confirm this?

Also - It wont let me add "2019" to the thread topic.

You can call the normal USCIS hotline to confirm your address

Hi guys,

Getting ready to send my packet this weekend. For bona fide marriage evidence, do I need to resubmitt evidence from the I-485 packet or just anything new? we bought a house and went on a few family vacations so included all the documentation, I also included bank account statements, IRS 2018 returns, health insurance cards. Think that's sufficient? My husband travels a lot for work so will be away for the next week or so still, he signed the forms on the 20th of October, the date of his signature is not going to be a problem is it? Or are they going to say it needs to be signed within the 90 day window.

Also im confused on the "90 day window" My green card expires on Jan 25 2020, so by my calculation I can send my packet on Sunday ? or does the window start at like day 89 ?

Day 89

from what I heard for I-485, you need all of I-751+ any updated or additional information... I would wait for Someone else to further comment to confirm this.

But from what I heard, don’t expect them to put your I-751 with your new I-485 for you.

There’s no guarantee USCIS will be so organized as to tie in your I-485 documentation to the I-751. I would suggest including anything providing bona code evidence of cohabitation, shared finances / assets, everything and anything from marriage as per the guidance in the instructions.

Make sure the bank records show both names. Not sure about you but my IRS transcripts had our names and address redacted so I included our actual returns and a screenshot of the irs announcement regarding the redactions.

i would throw in some monthly bills reflecting both your names and Driver’s licenses showing the same address. We also included beneficiary information for pensions, 401k, life insurance, mortgage, joint deed, joint titles, 1095s showing employer coverage of health+ named spouse, and ton of photos and flight tickets from the time of marriage.

Signature shouldn’t be an issue; date is based on when they receive it. I heard the system sometimes rejects those received on the 90 day mark so I would give it an extra day or two to ensure the submission is accepted.
