We resubmitted last documents on 16 January, hoping everything comes back ok from this next review. The waiting is so hard! We started this whole process in September 2018, so 1.5 years now and still more time ahead of us. Never thought it could take this long! Trying to be patient. Will update when our re-submitted documents are reviewed!

We resubmitted (few docs on 7th Jan, didn't hear anytging) and last doc on 19th Jan, let see if we hear on 19th, do update us when u hear back from Nvc. Our case was also started september 18

I just checked the NVC document review time line. It says they are reviewing documents received 4Jan20. So they are 9 weeks behind now.

Time just keeps getting longer and longer.

When I first started with I-130, Nebraska, It said that wait time was 6-8 months. It is now 12.5 to 16 months.

I don't know why they wont hire more people when the whole department is self funded, which means they have more than enough money from all the backlog of cases to hire more people.

I did a net search and it appears that the US congress has made an inquiry into the USCIS wait times getting too long; however, they gave the USCIS 6 months to 'fix' it before they go do their investigation. So congress won't even look into it until something like June or July 2020.

I tried to expedite, but apparently if your life is threatened it isn't an excuse to expedite.

What does this NVC email means we just recieved for resubmission?

" If you provided a new form to us, these are the items that are still incorrect or missing. Please complete a new form and forward it to the visa applicant so it may be presented at their final interview. If you need another form, please visit http://nvc.state.gov/aos to download a new form and complete instructions. Please sign and date this by hand in Part 8, Lines 6.a. and 6.b., and replace this form."

Do we have to still wait for 2 more months after corrections?

Please guide if any one have the idea about this
