I‘m not even excited anymore...

Hello....

I‘m not posting this to get opinions or an advice..

My interview was on the 5th of August.. everything went well.. the CO told me i was approved and can expect my passport within a few days...

Of course my case went into AP on the 7th.. since then, no new update. I‘ve sent 2 emails to the Consulate asking if they need more documents because my case went to AP. Both times the answer was that the website isn‘t really accurate and that my visa is being processed and ready for issuance (whatever that means ) i am just tired of this.. of course all of you wanna tell me it can take months or years. Which i would understand if i‘d come from a „dangerous“ country or if they would need more documents to check.. but neither is the case.. if everything is fine, why take so long??? Again.. this isn‘t a post to ask for advice ...i know no one can tell me how long it‘ll take.. i just don‘t understand ..and i am not even excited anymore.. i don‘t even check the website.. it shows me the same every day anyway and it‘s depressing...

What am i waiting on to?! There is nothing else requested...

Nobody can answer that. Nobody knows the exact inner workings of the agencies. Also, your case isn't the only one so there other cases are likely being looked at along side yours. Best to not even try to figure it out because it will just drive you crazy.

I know that nobody can answer that. My post wasn‘t made to get an answer.. i just wanted to say that it‘s frustrating..

As frustrating as it is, we can thank our lucky stars that we are from low fraud countries so we know that it is very unlikely that your case will end up in AP for months.. This can not be said for some fellow VJ members that end up in months and months of AP so use this waiting time to think about how fortunate we are and keep them in our thoughts 😉

And: congratulations on the approval of course!!

As per the VJ page for Frankfurt

"3-5 business days at best, 2 weeks at worst."

You are at 7 business days. 2 days past the BEST case scenario. Its a little bit silly to be complaining already

Did they ask for a joint sponsor at the interview?  I remember from previous posts that you didn't think you would need one.
