Had our interview today.
Case approved however somehow I-693 was lost. Officer suggested we get a new i-693 and drop it off. Should receive GC in few weeks once i-693 dropped off at a local office.

How come you did an I-693 instead of your K-1 medical documentation?

Still no move on my status... AOS is still on "response to RFE received" and AED still on "fingerprints completed" 😔

You’ll hear something soon. Consider calling USCIS about your AOS. EAD should be next week based on timelines though

I've called them every week for 3 weeks and every time I got the same answer, that someone was working on my RFE response and that if it hadn't moved by the 20th of December, I should do a case inquiry. I'm done calling them for now. I don't think they'll process my EAD before they review my response to RFE because it's about my birth certificate that they certainly misplaced, since it was in my initial package.

You should have sent 3 copies of your birth certificate. One for each application, if you did that, then don’t worry

I appreciate that you're trying to make me feel better or something, but that really doesn't help much. I've filed my applications with RapidVisa, we made sure everything was there, and they made sure everything was there too. Mileage varies between people for the AED and AOS, it's very frustrating, I'm just venting.

I would like it if you stopped telling me to "not worry" because you don't know about my personal situation and how that affects my day to day life and that of my family. I don't want to seem ungrateful or whatever, but this frustrates me even more.

Plus they only ask for a birth certificate for the AOS, not for Advance parole or Employment authorization.
