Can my Filipina fiance go with me inside Runway Manila? She doesn't have a ticket but would like to take me as far inside the airport as possible. (I'm going back to the US )

Some say that she can but has to go back when we get to the food hall area. Some say she can't because she needs a ticket to go inside Runway Manila.

Does anyone have any experiences with this?

Also, how can I post in the Philippines forum? I know this is not the right place to post. My apologies

I have no idea about the airport, but here is the regional forum you asked for.  If you want to have this post moved there, simply hit the report button on the top right corner of your initial post and a friendly moderator or organizer will move it rather than creating a duplicate post.

Good Luck!

Also do foreigners pay travel tax or airport tax (whatever added tax not part of the ticket) or is that for locals?

Travel tax should be in the cost of the ticket for the last few years.

You can get her in the main hall where you check in.  Once checked in you'll go to passport control but she can't go there.

Not sure why you keep saying runway.  Only the plane goes on the runway.  If you mean gate then no only ticketed passengers go past security / passport control.

Thanks..Runway Manila is the bridge from Newport City. Is a walkway, it's not the main entrance

Interesting.  Never really paid attention to that.  Always dropped off or picked up at front door.

You can. I've never showed a ticket. Just said it's e-ticket and went on my way. Same for wife who wasn't flying that day.
