Can I get my case expedited because of the pregnancy of wifey

I’m waiting for an interview for my I130 petition, my case was approved since May 14 my spouse is 7 months pregnant Can I request an expedite just because of pregnancy??

You can request but it is not an expedite reason

Unless their are hardship reasons or medical then it's unlikely they would approve your request. My expedite request was accepted due to medical reasons in my pregnancy which was proved with evidence. No harm in trying. But it's the embassy's decision to approve the expedite or not.

I'm sure it that was the case lots of people will surely be trying to get pregnant to expedite their cases. You can try though; all they will say is approved or rejected. Goodluck.

Anybody is free to request an expedite for any reason.

Pregnancy is not on the list of criteria and history has not been so kind either.

Some people have had better luck with an expedite at the NVC stage and/or embassy. But USCIS is more strict.
