This may be a stupid question, but is flight her only option?

My dog is emigrating with me, but can’t fly because of his age/heart murmur - so we’re emigrating by cruise instead...just wondering if by sea may be also be an option for your wife?

Yes.. flight is only Option.. because am in africa (Ghana)

I know you’re in Ghana - I’m in England, which is about the same distance away from the US. I’ve just looked and there are actually cruises that go from US and or Canada  to Ghana, but they’re expensive. She could also cruise to South Africa for much less and then you could fly to meet her there.

Would it be expensive and time-consuming? Yes. But regardless, flying is not her only option.

Just to put into context, we’ll be spending a week at sea and then a week driving across America when I emigrate - it’s expensive and not entirely practical, but needs must.

If you wife visiting may mean the difference between you ending up together or not, she probably needs to conquer her flying fears or look into other options.

Is there a reason why he can’t fly to her to go visit?

Everyone is on about her flying to him and medicating her, why can’t he fly to the us on a B2? I’ve flown the US 6 times now whilst our I130 is processing...

no need to worry about her being scared to fly if y’all do that

Because he is from Ghana (which is considered a very tough embassy ) the chances for him to get a visitor's visa for The States will be slim.. Not impossible but very hard to get.

You are from a low fraud country that allows visits much more easy.

The B visa refusal rate for Ghana is very high. There is a very slim to near-0 chance that the OP will be able to obtain a tourist visa with a US Citizen spouse.

He should still try and apply for it... cant use chance of refusal as excuse not to of made an attempt... plus he can always use denial as one of the reasons for minimal physical contact with wife..

I'm certainly not suggesting not to apply. The chance is 0% if one does not apply. The cost is the time, transportation, and $160. Pretty small cost in the big picture, but likely not negligible if he is paying his own way relative to the general cost of living.

But at the same time, it would be highly unlikely for him to actually get it. My reply above was in response to "Is there a reason why he can’t fly to her to go visit?".

The denial would not be beneficial (or harmful) in determining if the relationship is bona fide, though. The reason why people haven't spent more time together is not a factor...one must show why they do have a bona fide marriage.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Wales

I have read all the OP's posts and I have no clue about his situation and if he could get a Visitor Visa.
