K-1 visas through 🇬🇲

According to the DOS, Gambia issued 24 K-1 visas in FY 2018 out of 24,675 K-1 visas issued worldwide.

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE

And I’m pretty sure you have to go through Dakar to get the visa. Senegal does a lot of immigrant visas for other countries like Guinea and The Gambia.

No I saw am American embassy while I was there so I know it's processed through Gambia not Senegal.

That's not the determining factor, actually. Some embassies/consulates don't handle immigrant (and K-1) visas.

Why on Earth Kazakhstan and other stans are listed under "Europe" who teaches those people Geography.

Goodness. My husband's only issued 3 last year. So basically none. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing

In 7 years on this website, it's the first time I've seen that flag. So likely it's just few because few people went that route.

Yea me too. But Benin is a bit larger than Gambia.
