My parent is currently petitioning for me, an adult child. What year is currently being processed now and also what are the implications if I have a child who is already a US citizen. how will this affect my petition? or anything in relation to american laws or regulations

There is a lot of information needed.

How old are you?

Are your parents US citizens living in the US?

What country are you from?

Are you married?

To get help with information it is always a good idea to include as much information of your history as possible in order for us to help you.

It’s around 7 years of wait and you have to stay unmarried throughout the time. You marry and it is an additional 6 years of wait.

Having a US citizen child has no impact in your existing petition.

As long as you paid the Medical costs all should be fine, good luck on your visa journey.

do you mean out of pocket or just once it was covered?

Neither, as long as the bill was paid. Not a public charge issue.
