Ok today my kids had the med exam ,everthing ok! It was around 2 hours with doctor grillo ,I asked her how many interviews or exams she did this month and she told me not many so it seems that the embassy isn’t doing many interviews ,

Hi guys, has anyone had any news regarding K1 visas? My case is ready for interview since march but just about 10 days ago I received the package with instructions to get an interview. A girl from another forum said she's trying to get an appointment on the appointments page since march 😩. Any news?

For K1 visas, write the embassy to see if they can open new dates, even during this pandemic, it is worth a try.

Hi guys! Things are moving slowly but at least the appointments page let me pay for the fee. Hopefully I will get the interview soon. I'm just wondering if i have to bring the documents (package) to the embassy before the interview for k1 visa, or should i just show up with the envelope the day of the interview. Sorry to ask, my confusion comes from the email I got with the instructions. It doesn't say anywhere that I have to approach to the embassy with the package, but everybody says they left it there before the interview.

Sorry guys, if anyone has a clue please let me know. Best!!

I am sure, even in COVID world, you need to drop that off at the embassy.  It used to be that it was 10-13 days before the interview (I can’t remember).  Now, that timeframe could have changed.  But, the actual need of having to drop it off so they have a chance to review it before the interview has to be true still.  I would email them to ask them if and where you need to drop that off during COVID.

I know you're only given a few months to schedule an interview but it looks like ours expires in January. But k1 interviews don't seem to be happening? Do we email/call asking for an extension or how does it work?

Hello! You can email the embassy with any question you have. My experience through email was great and I recommend it.

It says to bring the documents with you to the interview. If they wanted you to send the documents before they would add it to the instructions.
