Hi! Did they tell you if you were approved or not? For what I've heard they tend to tell you that same day. Hate suspense... I'm sure you will know very soon

Hey, yes they did tell everything was good, they took my passport and told me in 10 days i will receive a notification but nothing so far

Thank you @Tootie906!! I would like to ask you if did you have to send the envelope before the interview or you just showed up the same day. Because they didnt ask me to leave the package before time 🤷🏻‍♀️

How long has it been taken to get visa post interview? I read before that if you pick it up it is usually only a couple of days, but sounds like it has been taking longer? I little concerned because my husband's interview is Jan 28th and flight to the US is Feb 8th and it sounds like that may not be realistic!

During normal times it was 7-10 days.  Now with COVID, I would plan for a bigger window just to be safe and not lose your money on the plane ticket.  If there are any holidays during that time, that is another thing to consider.

It took me 5 business days to get my passport back (april 2019). Now we covid things are taking longer than expected from what I can see.

Mine took only 8 days in September 2020, during COVID times!

But I don’t know if there are different factors now, like less staff, or more interviews being conducted, resulting in a longer delay.

My interview was dec 10th 2020 till  today my visa isn’t issued yet so my point is if you lucky enough in 7 business days maybe less but for me, it’s been like 3 weeks my isn’t issued yet so it’s unpredictable to tell you exactly

Yikes that's a long time even considering the holidays. Hope you get it soon!
