Hi all,

I had filled forms of 15 people who are in 50's and travelling from India as a group and captured their degree details only. All the schooling details prior to degree was omitted in all forms.

I was not aware that their high school details also needed to be captured. group appointment has already been scheduled shortly,. will this create a problem in interview or rejection?

pls advise urgently as their is no way and time to modify ds 160 and group appointment has been scheduled, fees paid and biometrics and interview date has been confirmed.

will the VO reject their applications on this ground only? I mean they are elderly people and did their schooling a long time back.

The specific question is "Have you attended any educational institutions at a secondary level or above". That rules out high school imo.

Secondary school is high school. Tertiary is college or post high school.

Ok, but I highly doubt the US embassy is looking for high school info. In India, high school is upto 10th grade.

That's the confusion they want full education history starting from 10th grade , or just latest degree.

Hi which country u from and whether visa officer asked u you did not fill complete education history? Was it visa granted? Mayb the form is country specific and the section did not appear in ur form.

Nepal. I don’t think DS160 is country specific. No question was asked about the form. Both parents and in laws were granted visitor bisas.

I filled out a mock ds160 on a visit to India, no issues with school details for a 50+ adult.
