Honestly i have no idea, i’ve never heard of msc! Hopefully someone else can help! 

 

But for example mine is being processed in texas and will stay there until noa2, then move on to nvc stage

Hello, I have seen several discussion on the forum about receipts starting with MSC (like here  --->

 and if you make the research in the forum, you will find probably other infos. Let us know

 

(now, the "real waiting game" is starting right after NOA1, since we will have to wait several month before receiving NOA2... take care)

Bravo! In my case, they will take my fingerprints only at the very end of the process (being the interview at the Ambassy). Take care

Hello! Fellow april filer here. We sent our I-130 packet to the Chicago lockbox and according to FEDEX it arrived on 04/26/2019. Haven't heard anything since, no NOA1 yet. I'm starting to get nervous, has anyone else had to wait this long?

That is unusual. I got NOA1 in a week. You may want to call USCIS to see what's going on.

I would also recommend calling. It doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with your submission, but I would check. Our first attempt took that long and when I called to check, they told me it had been rejected for an incorrect mailing address. They should be able to look up your packet based on identifying information (name, perhaps SSN...I don't recall). Good luck.
