  1. There is a Facebook group for K-Visa: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Italians.Who.Marry.Americans.K1.AoS/?ref=share
  2. Hi Daisy&Mirko, We have created a wonderful WhatsApp group. You guys can send us your phone number in a private message and we can add you.
  3. Maybe we can start here, because any information we share is crucial. Eventually we can join some social media groups or whatever helps; only those involved in this situation know how others feel. Every day I wake up and I am thankful because my husband is safe and sound...I just cannot deal with the event he needs me and I cannot reach him out. This is the reason why people make families together!
  4. Hi all, while we wait for further details, does anyone here knows anything regarding the Constitution and family relationships? Has VisaJourney already posted something regarding this? Maybe I missed this.
  5. Hello, I am Italian and I am waiting for my interview at the US Consulate in Naples. My husband and I started out CR1 petition on April 3rd, 2019. Visajourney has published a very helpful Megathread regarding the latest announcement from President Trump and the immigration suspension order. Since this website represents a great support for us, while we are waiting to join our beloved ones, I was wondering whether other Italians are in the same situation as mine. My first appointment (April 21st, 2020) has been cancelled and I'm (hopefully) waiting for another one. How about you? Feel free to send me a message, maybe we can create a group and stay up to date regarding this incredible situation. Thank you, Mirna
  6. Hello, Yesterday NVC has approved my documents. First and unique submission date was January 6th 2020. Now waiting for the interview.
  7. My lawyer asked me to fill the form for the Public Charge questionnaire, just to be sure we are all set in case the consulate will ask for it. Has anybody here any experience about that form? By the way, NVC has corrected my husband's surname; this is a small progress but I am so happy the did it.
  8. Hello! This is great news from you!!! I'm so happy about your interview! Unfortunately, I have no news from NVC and I have not been approved yet; also, my husband's name is still misspelled. We submitted on January 8th, 2020. When was your submission? Please, keep me up-to-date: it makes me happy to know about April 2019's submitters! Cheers!
  9. Hi LIfiler17, How are you? I remember we submitted almost at the same time and I was wondering whether you have any news from NVC.
  10. Oh, we experienced the same thing with our lawyer (and we have already paid him). In the end we decided to tell him: if you do not upload the documents before the end of the day, we'll do that. He did it. It took about 10 /14 days to have all the documents submitted, and we were very disappointed by his behavior (and we, as you, had already sent him all the documents in advance).
  11. Hi LIfiler17, any news? We are stuck because we have filed everything but my husband's family name on NVC's website is still misspelled. Our lawyer had already asked them to correct it, but nothing happened so far. Surely, it was a data entry mistake.
  12. Update. The link to the payment doesn't work with my Windows PC (I get "Server Error in '/CTRAC' Application"). But it works with my husband's computer (Mac). I see this is a common error, maybe someone will find my comment helpful. Anyway, we have paid the fees.
  13. We also asked our lawyer, but he said we had to wait 2 months before sending the email. My husband and I decided to go ahead and send it anyway. As per the NVC timing, I'm also searching for information but it seems like there is not a unique criteria. For example, the timing changes in case of missing documents, mistakes, and other unexpected events. Also, we have noticed that mistake on our application, therefore we expect some delays. I will keep you up-to-date.
  14. Two days ago we have sent an email to NVC, because it was more than 40 days since we had been approved from USCIS. Guess what? Today NVC has replied and we have a case number. Unfortunately, they have misspelled my husband's family name and we are waiting for our lawyer's answer (it seems like a transcription error). I think they have replied after our email, @LIfiler17, have you tried the same? Overall, it's good news.
  15. Hi, same here. Mine was sent from Texas service center to NVC on November 15th. I haven't heard back yet too. According to their page, as of 16-DEC-2019, they were working on cases that were received from USCIS on 15-NOV-2019. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/after-petition-approved/begin-nat-visa-center.html
