We finally had interview on 12/17. Interview went very smooth and approval of ROC was granted. Received new green card on 12/26.

Also, while we were waiting for this we had filed for citizenship in late September and interview for that was 12/28. This also was approved so now we just have to wait for notification of oath taking ceremony.

Congratulation..... i thought most field office combine the Citizenship interview with the Oath Ceremony to serve time ( or I might be over thinking it....😀😀

Congratulation......the final process seems very fast this days....Happy for you!!!!

Thank you! I agree, the final process seems to go very fast lately. I'm happy it's almost over, citizenship interview is less than 4 weeks away. Hopefully it'll be a same-day oath ceremony as well as I know that Nashville field office has an oath ceremony room in the building. Fingers crossed!

Has anyone in the DC area had any luck making an appointment at the USCIS field office in Fairfax? My husband's 18-month extension for his i-751 will expire in 14 days (January 27) and the i-751 is still pending. We have been trying to make an appointment with the USCIS center to get the i-551 stamp in his passport since December 28. The process is to call the scheduling hotline and receive a callback from the local office within seven business days to schedule the appointment. The first seven days passed with no call and we are now in the queue a second time. It's been five business days.

This is incredible frustrating, as we have submitted all paperwork and gone through the process correctly and promptly. We are trying to follow their protocol, but cannot even get an appointment to extend his status AGAIN because USCIS is so inefficient that we have been waiting for 21 months. I appreciate any insights people in the DC area can share. On the N-400 thread, others in the DC area have been getting citizenship interviews and oath ceremonies scheduled. We're just stuck for both i-751 and N-400. I don't get it.

Interesting....in the N-400 forum, we were talking about how complaining about the case status on the VJ forum seems to produce results. Mere seconds after I posted my rant above, my husband received the call from USCIS to schedule the i-551 stamp appointment. At least that is moving forward....

I’m in pretty much same situation, I also had combo interview. I-751 was approved 10 days after the interview. The approval noticed mentioned that they approved my both applications and I won’t get a green card, instead I’ll get a oath date. But when I called they said n400 still pending review

Still no update on the ROC. I ended up submitting my N-400 online yesterday, which has been accepted. Received a notice this morning that they will reuse my biometrics so I don't need an additional appointment for that. If I look at my account online USCIS have provided an estimated processing time of 9 months... but we shall see!
