Hi ALL,

Last week,I received notice that TSC want marriage & Bank account certificates,so I sent courier it to TSC and I got this answer.

On March 18, 2019, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number ABC123456789.Our Texas Service Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you.

All documents attached with I751,when we submitted via courier to VSC and after 1 & 1/2 year, they asked it again, what does it mean?

Does TSC will take again 1 year!?

Please, do needful.

Did they specifically ask for a marriage certificate as evidence for your I-751?

Who knows.  A package gets moved around, pages get lost, etc.  I have been seeing quite a few threads talking about RFEs at the AOS, ROC and N400 stages for documents that were supposedly supplied in the original filing.  In my opinion, USCIS may be getting a bit sloppy trying to deal with the backlog.

Because people do not mark pages and they get lost in the shuffle

when you send  this time mark each AND EVERY PAGE  in the upper right hand corner with your case number,  both names and both DOB's

immigration often looses documents

even though they are suppose to be scanned into the system , someone has obviously misplaced the paper documents

Thread is moved from the CR-1 Case Progress subforum to the Removing Conditions forum.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi.

ROC currently takes forever. And any changes can happen for  15-18 months. So, due to the long wait some IO  want just an updated info and  RFE gets issued. Even if it's for the same documents you have already sent with original submission.

Usually it takes about 4-8 weeks to make a decision after RFE response. Your ROC journey should be over soon :)

Goof luck!!

Like others have mentioned before, USCIS officers go thru the stack of papers and never consider the time applicants have taken to delicately prepare their packets with evidence and crucial details; it's not their job to do so.

Instead, the officers have a checklist of things to gather and upload into the system from the applicants' paperwork so they tend to look for those items first. A rummaged thru packet with details that might go missing in the fray is just a casualty of USCIS. They would then ask again for those items to be resubmitted.

Simply resubmit what they asked for so they can continue processing your case. Best of luck to you!
