Hello! Mailed our I-129F forms on Feb 1st. Still awaiting a receipt number.

Not kidding...have been told by two other boards that I should be following this board. Haha. Whoops.

Glad to have you. It's now running about 5-6 months for your case approval and receiving your NOA2. So don't panic, jump up and down or say that the process is unfair because 32 million in front of you have already expressed those feelings.

You should have your receipt referred to as the NOA1 any day now. Have you tracked your envelope for delivery, then check your bank account to see if the "check" was cashed. A sure signs of good things.

Thank you for the welcome! Seriously, was just waiting for a “wrong thread, go here.....” so yay, happy to be here.

I did track the package. It has been received. Not even mad about 5-6 month wait. There’s lots that needs to be done on my end of things and that doesn’t even include the administrative filings.

Just waitin on that receipt number.

As for the bank - we sent a money order. I’m sure it was cashed successfully.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Hi fellow Canadian!

Ours was received on Tuesday the 19th (yesterday). We also sent a money order, so no way to know it was cashed successfully. I guess I'll let you know when we get our NOA1...but it seems like we still have a lot of waiting to do! haha

When did you send your petition? We mailed ours Feb 1st. We’re you notified via email/text/snail mail??

Thanks for the welcome!

Thanks for the welcome!

My fiance mailed in the package using USPS on Friday February 15th. We were notified through USPS tracking code that the package was delivered on Tuesday. No notifications from USCIS as of yet.

Gotcha. Thanks for the details. Thought you had received a receipt number already and was concerned that I have not received one yet. Whew. I’m totally fine with the long wait - as long as I know it’s been accepted. Haha.

Thanks for the input.
