Buenas!

We haven't. My fiancee has her medical next week, and we haven't received anything from the embassy yet. So technically we should still be waiting for their email or mail with the P3. I'm still wondering what should we do about that of we don't hear from the embassy by next week.

Our case has been showing ready since February 21. And Feb 27 was the last update to our case online.

That's really weird. Did you try emailing them again? It's been two weeks already. For the cases I saw it taked a week for the embassy to send P3 by email (btw the P3 packet is in the embassy website for everyone. I don't know why they have to specifically send it to you. Maybe is just a way of saying 'We are ready for your case' haha)

Keep us posted in case we have to go through the same!

I'm hoping my case is ready by the begginig of next week

PS: Can you send me the embassy email? I found two in the website and I don't know which is correct, thanks! :)

I assume it is because of that. As far as I understand the status Ready doesn't necessarily mean they have processed the petition, it just means they've received it. Hopefully yours doesn't take as long to be forwarded to you.

I've given up emailing them honestly. I've sent them 4 emails. My fiancee sent them 1 and she later called but they will not give information about a petition. It's standard rule it seems across embassies to only reply to general information questions.

This is the email I've used buenosaires-iv@state.gov . Again they will reply quickly to questions about documents or interview appointments , or that sort of topic. I'm pretty sure when it comes to a petition in particular they won't. At least it hasn't been the case for us.

Good luck! I'll keep you updated with our case.

Don't forget that embassies observe American and local holidays and the Carnival break just took place. I would give it one more week. If she hasn't been contacted by then, email the embassy (add your BNS number to the subject) and follow up with them.

I'll try on monday and I'll keep you posted in what they say. A lawyer friend told us that we should wait until they reach to us. We shouldn't start DS160 without them sending email or letter
