bombastic is too soft of a word to describe the tweets (and obviously not his behavior). I would say he is (from his words/tweets/actions)

1. irresponsible (i will own the shutdown, the buck stops with everyone etc)

2. pathological liar (politifact has all the lies)

3. childish (read his statements, tweets, behavior - name calling?)

4. unremorseful (caught lying but never repented?)

5. a bully

6. a demagogue

(i can back these up with evidence and examples - definitely not Alternative Facts, or Truthful Hyperbole  ).

Given all those traits, i have to wonder, if one (his supporters mainly) can put up with an entity like him, one can definitely put up with a lot of other characters (which clearly do not embody all the bad traits listed above). And suddenly supporting other entities does not look bad at all.

Your not going to get a strong argument from anyone here on your points. You forgot Narrsistic personally disorder.

Still love his policies and would vote for him everytime over hillary.

We had a local heart surgeon back in the day. Whiskey sipping cow raising,  tobacco chewing , woman chasing potty mouth heathen  he did ground breaking world noted work in pioneering bypass surgery. The first in the Southeast to do it. He saved many lives. Would you want him or the guy that would put you on blood thinners and watch you die.

great, clearly INTEGRITY is one one of the traits you look for an elected official.

He still has more integrity than Hillary is the point.  I value keeping your Campaign promises and getting things done.

Why dont you tick off a list of things that are much worse in this country since Trump got elected.

sure, i can tick off The Longest Government Shutdown in history. And Trump said he would own it but (of course, that was a lie too) now trying to keep shifting the blame onto others.

Is shutting down the government and showing folks that they are an unnecessary waste really a bad thing?

Great links, but total hypotheses on illegal immigrants, which is what I was referring to.  I did not feel the need to make that clear, because I have nothing against legal immigrants, which I am sure is backed up by most everyone here on VJ.

I seriously doubt the numbers postulated about illegals and taxes.  Heck, we don’t even have a good idea how many illegals there are in the US.  And we darn sure don’t know how they spend their money nor how much in taxes they spend.  But I would offer my own hypothesis that the smaller the illegal family unit in the US is, the larger the sums of money sent outside the country to support their homeland families.

Yes, illegal immigrants pay sales taxes when they buy stuff.  Not much of a way around that.  But state and federal income taxes?  Not so much.

Isn't it amazing that when you make a statement about illegal immigration, that you are automatically labeled anti-immigration?

A poster here claimed non citizens don't pay taxes.

Thanks for admitting that this side show is not about a wall.

You assumed they were referring to all non-citizens and as that poster clarified, they were not.

How about a happy result of shutting it down?  There are a lot of unfilled jobs out there.

firing muscles at Japan

With ligaments and tendons attached?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
