We are in day 12 of the US Government being shut down.  Sooner or later Embassy will close to the general public and be like they are on major holiday, only open to US Citizens,  that are case by case basis and only open to US Citizens.

That is a good question. I guess they will make them reschedule if it happens.  

 

Probably same thing they do if they have to shutdown embassy for typhoon, only open for US Citizens and only on a case by case basis.

Nobody but DOS management would know the answer to this. They likely have funding for a while still, but if the shutdown goes on long enough then it could happen. I think at least one embassy has done this already.
