Hello, I'm wondering if there are any statistics or estimated time it takes to get a green card by marriage if our case was filed in Tennessee? I saw on visajourney that the wait varies by the state you're in, but I can't find that same webpage again.

Thank you in advance!

09/06/17 : K-1 Petition Sent

07/09/18 : APPROVAL

This will give you a better idea of how long K1 AOS is taking in TN, but keep in mind it doesn't seem to be a very large sample size.

To find your field office, go here: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices (search by zip code; the field office for your location may not be in your state)

I've read that the date ranges for official time estimates from the link above are based on completion times for 50%-~90% of cases as of two months ago. Which is why it's not unusual to see cases completed in less time than that.

You can only get your SSN with a valid K1 visa or a valid I-94. If both are expired, you should've requested it with your EAD application. If you didn't do that, you can probably request your SSN at the SSN office once you have your EAD

Hopefully you are filing for an EAD card after which you can get a SS number
