NVC Filers - December 2018

Timeline

I have submitted my all documents(civil and aos)on 23rd nov 2018 and still not getting any response. Till now only my husband’s AoS is accpeted and my civil documents are still pending.

 

Is there anyone who is waiting for case complete at nvc ???

Yeah, I'll let you know. I'm also big into statistics as it helps me estimate how my own case will progress.

From other cases that I'm following, I'm assuming my husband's interview will be some time around January 25th.

In Brazil, it seems that interviews are usually 7-8 weeks after NVC case complete date, but we're not too excited about it because we know he's going to be denied the visa at this interview. We already know he's inadmissible and will need to file a waiver I-601 and I-212 which take approx. 11-12 months to be approved. It's a long road ahead for us. What sucks is that the waiver can't be filed until he's actually denied at the interview, wish we could've filed it earlier.

March 31, 2007 - Got married in NY

October 8, 2011 - 1st child born

December 10, 2012 - Family moved to Brazil

March 17, 2013 - 2nd child born

July 25, 2017 - USC spouse and 2 USC children moved back to US

October 13, 2017: I-130 sent via USPS Priority

October 16, 2017: I-130 received

October 19, 2017: I-130 NOA1 email received

October 24, 2017: I-129F sent

October 26, 2017: I-129F received

November 2, 2017: I-129F NOA1 email received

November 14, 2017: I-129F request to expedite by phone

November 30, 2017: I-129F request to expedite denied

February 9, 2018: I-130 request to expedite by phone

February 9, 2018: I-130 approved

February 9, 2018: I-129F terminated

February 12, 2018: I-130 NOA2 email received

February 12, 2018: I-129F NOA2 email received

February 13, 2018: I-130 request to expedite denied (lol, I didn't understand the denial to expedite since the I-130 was approved on the same day as the request)

February 14, 2018: I-130 sent to NVC

February 20, 2018: NVC received

April 30, 2018: NVC Case Number Generated

May 1, 2018: Paid IV and AOS Fees

November 12, 2018: Submitted DS-261

November 13-14, 2018: Submitted AOS and Civil Documents

November 23, 2018: NVC Accepted AOS and Civil Documents, and requested replacement of police certificate. Re-submitted police certificate on the same day.

December 6, 2018: Case Completed at NVC

I am. but i am filing via mail

NVC received my documents on november 26th

Today I noticed on the case status that CR1 changed to IR1 and on the portal they don't list my AOS anymore, not sure they accepted it or not. and the IV package is still listed.

hi, How many days it took after you sent NVC documents to case complete. And did you uploaded everything all together like DS206 and passport pic, Police clearence, financial documents etc

 

i don’t know my lawyer emailed docs? He said email then the NVC says same email or mail. How can others upload while mine had to be emailed?

Hi, I'm also waiting for case complete but we just submitted all documents last Thursday, the 6th. I also don't know how long should this waiting time take.

some cases are email and some are electronic and the others are mail.

check my timeline for dates.

They’ve got my docs October 29. Today is December 8th. So, I guess about 5 weeks in total. 

Im just letting you know, so you can figure out the time frame.

This gave me high hope now, mine was received on Oct 30, hopefully i will receive my case number next week 😍

You should receive case number any time now. I would call them.

Mine was 25 Oct Received and I got case number on 4 Dec. So it took 1 month, 8 days.

I would say Monday...Definitely Tuesday.

I did call them on Friday, 11:55 pm to be precise. I am hoping for Tuesday, let’s see.
