Hello kababayans 🇵🇭! We are one week since our petition was approved (noa2). Is it true that all the slots for december interview are taken? We're still waiting for our case number hopefully we get on the end of the month or early December.

Hang tight. You just got your NOA2 approved. Now you need to deal with NVC which takes months... Interview concerns come way later. Congrats on your noa2. 😁

Once you get your case number from NVC you can pay your interview fee and then schedule your interview. That's the time to be looking for openings. Things can change rapidly and the schedule fills to capacity then they will open the next month. You should be asking these types of questions over in the sub-forum for the Philippines found here:

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

The PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

I've been eyeballing this. Most interviews are happening between 45-60 days from NOA2 for k1 in Manila. Some are a little quicker...Some are later. I would imagine the ones that are later are due to personal preference...Things to do, etc....

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

K1 interview is quicker. Especially in Manila. NVC process is not as complex as IR1/CR1)

That’s good! But December interview..? It’s already almost end of November.. I really doubt that it will be THAT quick.

Edit: Better quick than late. 😶

December is highly unlikely))) You even run the risk  of messing things up by trying to do things too early. I read on here a while ago that someone showed up to interview and they weren't ready for them because they scheduled too early...had to reschedule. That would be a nightmare)))

It can be up to a month before you will get your MNL# (case file #) from NVC.   You could contact NVC in a couple weeks.

As Greenbaum said - once you have your MNL# you can pay your visa fee at BPI.   Then when your status on the CEAC website shows READY you can schedule your interview.

Hello there kabayan! Congrats on your approved noa2. You're almost there! 😊 Anyway I just have a question sana, so after noa2 what are the requirements you prepared for the second packet? Thanks

There is not a packet 2 or 3 for that matter.      You will need the MNL# (case file) from NVC to complete everything in the Philippines, here is info on contacting NVC.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/nvc-k-1.html

Everything required by the embassy is listed on their website.

The complete K-1 process is listed here

Oh I see. Thanks. So there's nothing much to do after the noa2? I have read the packet 3 or so which are the requirements to bring during interview.

No packets.   What happens at other embassies doesn't apply to USEM.

Follow the process as listed in the links provided earlier and you will be done with the interview in short order.
