So they received your case already??? I am hoping they received mine too, we have the NOA2 on the same date. May I ask you how did you find out? I sent them an email last week and they told me they have not received yet. Should I call or send an email again?

THANK YOU!!

I simply called yesterday once at 7am they had no information yet. Then I said what the heck and call at 10:44pm and said my file was there and it could take up to 8 weeks for a number. Well I’m sure that’s just what they are suppose to say. It looks like it’s taking two weeks max. I would call.

So I just called NVC and told me they received the file yesterday, same thing they told you it will take up to 8 weeks to assign case numbers.... LOL. I was looking at other forums, October for example and they were getting case numbers within 5 days from the day they received the file. so we might be able to make that batch of the 27/28 fingers crossed.

Hi guys. Woke up to our approval today! 😃 NA01: 22/05/2018 NAO2: 20/11/2018, 181 long days in total! @Greenbaum sorry to pester you but is there any chance you could send on information regarding what to gather for the next steps for those in the UK and any information regarding the interview/medical? I can see that you have sent similar links/info on to those in other countries. Your help would be greatly appreciated! X

Congrats. Here is what is needed for the UK.

London Portal here on VJ

London sub-forum on VJ

There are experts over in the sub-forum for your country located here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/  This is where others from your country who are processing or those who have completed their interview and they can guide you on their experience. A TON of information and help there.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

I can't tell you with any certainty but if I were a betting man, then I would say I think you have a real good chance. They should be spitting out case number like crazy tonight, Wednesday and Friday. Let's hope you make this cut.

So i think it depends on your local US embassy, I had my fiance call the embassy in Guatemala to find out the appointment dates like how quick they are scheduling appointments and their calendar and I got this response.

US embassy will be open all the month in December except 24th 25th and 31st. regular times the other days and for immigrant visas like the K-1 after they get the packet the soonest is a week. SO I am hoping to be done with this tedious process by end of December ??

Call your local embassy and ask the same questions and see what they say.

Amen to that! I'll try calling 11:30pm EST to see if there's a case number.
