Looks like I'm the first in Vermont to be approved. Question, why is the admission date 01/01/0001 and what's the effect of this?

I have the same date on my approval notice. Received the Green Card with the correct Residence Since Date.

Congratulations to the Vermont Filers and all other ones who have received their card.

 

I just have a quick question: what EAC starting number are you guys?

 

Also do we have a record or information about those who were approved that what they might be? i mean where they CR1 filers or K1 or so on so forth?

 

Also it would be good to know if people who filed married, did they have a child? I guess I am just asking for myself in this case.

 

You don't have to share it if you don't feel comfortable but it would be nice to know i guess.

No divorced will be 5 years after green card. Married is 3 years after green card. But to me there's no reason to hurry. 

Since you are still married and have a kid you should have nothing to worry about.

The 3 year rule no longer applies in this case. @Eileenaichan will be eligible for citizenship using the 5 year rule.

Since you are still married and have a kid you should have nothing to worry about. 

I am not worried about not getting approved, it is the wait time that is killing me. In a lot of ways, having no idea of my husband's status is nerve wracking. I mean jobs for instance is always something to think about.
